By repeating certain images, we can create a rhythm, which makes up a pattern. For this section, I designed patterns with objects of my choice, while attempting to tastefully insert stylized self-portraits.

For this piece, I chose scissors. I have always been interested by the sleek shape of scissors. I varied the size and type to make it more interesting, and also decorated the piece with splats of paint and dotted lines.

For this piece, the main stars were the shoes and footprints. I arranged them in a somewhat spiraling pattern, and added subtle shadows to create some depth.

In case you didn't notice, the repeating pattern were the eyes and alternating stripes.

Drawing and crafting tools.

A small plant.

One thing of note to mention, is that this section made me more senstive towards the formation of patterns, and how we can get inspiration to create them.
