After my previous idea being shot down for being too 'digital' I thought, why not do everything the same, but traditionally? This brought me to the pencil vs camera idea from a professional photographer Ben Heine.

EXCEPT he posted a video that suggested he does the drawing digitally..... but whatever. I tried it out and it seemed possible, so okay.
So, I came up with something like these first.
I took really long to come take these. Mostly because I was indoors with a tripod, with the exception of the goose one. I felt that something was kind of missing with these. Maybe it was the sense of, fickleness, unpredictability? Sort of? And no kidding, I took the whole day to shoot 2 of those pictures. I had to draw and redraw so many times, it was really tiring. So I thought of taking another approach to this, and take a nice walk outside around the neighbourhood. This time, I thought and drew on the spot, not wasting too much time like the previous ones. Something more cute, whimsical, lighthearted!

When I saw this sign, I thought, what if the one of the kids were to jump out? Kind of ironic since kids were suppoused to be nice and obedient at a kindergarten. But this didn't make the cut because I thought the drawing didn't look very nice.

In the nicely arranged pots, there was a weird empty gap in the middle just nice for another pot, so I added one there. The moment when the pots lined up, I instantly felt relieved. Like an itch had been scratched or something.

The power lines sort of remind me music staves, although they have one less line. But yeah, life isn't perfect, and it was really hard to match up the line to the power lines, haha. It was a nice idea to have the sky filled with imaginary music. Sort of romantic, eh?

The gates that prevent people from going into the back alley of houses reminded me of prison bars. So, that's what I did! Strangely, the meaning of gates and prisons kind of coincides. To prevent people from going in and out.

I know that many of us are always getting mad of potholes, so I wanted to poke fun at it with my own take! It was rainy before, so it was kind of icky full of water. I put a little guy there to fish in the 'pondhole' to emphasise how deep and huge it is.

Power lines seemed like an interesting subject, so here's another one with it, but this time only one thick line. Why not make people hold hands with the line?? Yeahh that will work.

This was honestly one of my favourites, but sadly it didn't make the cut because I wasn't satisfied with the focus. The cat was moving around, so I rushed through things by accident. I liked the shot but it wasn't as focused compared to the rest. Farewell, cat thinking of fish. You will be missed.
So that's it! I hope you enjoyed it! Honestly, I was trying to change the audience views only mundane everyday objects. Anything can be a little more fun if you have the imagination!
