In making stop-motion, you are free to use whatever method to stabilise, hold down, or move your models, as long as it is out of your frame or isn't too visible. You really had to get creative.
For the scene of the models uniformly stamping on paper, I had to think of a way for them to all move at the same time.I tried attaching strings from the models to a ruler at first, but it didn't work since they kept spinning.

Then I thought, why not just attach the models directly to the ruler?

It worked, but I had to work fast because they would fall out after a period of time.
And for the scene where the stamps marks were moving uniformly out of the scene, it was accomplished by stringing them together, and slowly taking each shot after tugging the string bit by bit.

To make my detached head sphere thing to appear as if its disappearing down the hole, I made many clay spheres first, then cut it into portions with the size varying gradually. To shoot the video. I placed the largest one in place first, then replacing it with the the one smaller in size next, shooting shot by shot until I use all of it. The other scenes with this same effect was made using this same technique.
