My favourites!

For the coloured ones, I used the complimentary red and green to make contrast, and highlight certain features. Some tissue was used to make a smearing effect. I used ferrero chocolate foil on the bottom right. I quite like the shades and highlights on the hair made by the scratchy surface. The bottom left one looked a little dull, so I added light orange for some highlights.

First one above, I dropped ink and blew it with straws. In the second, I drew on a plastic wrap and stamped it on the paper. There was a blotchy effect. Lastly, I painted wet tissue and pressed it on the paper.

I discovered different interesting effects and textures with different tools, my favorites were the skewer, straw and foil.It was a new and different experience.

Finally, the practice for the final assignment.

StartFragmentI used yellow as the background, and red and blue lines for contrast. I traced cut out circles for the background.EndFragment
