Well It starts as a simple looking booklet with semicircle-shaped pages.

It could be folded open to reveal two other booklets, but with differently shaped pages.

For the first one on the left, I based it on the theme of round shapes.

The marks on each side complete each other, sometimes by contrasting or complementing one another. For the splotchy spontaneous black marks, I used black block print ink.

Onto the next one! This one is based on different types of textures.

For this, I used crumpled paper, wrinkled paper, fingerprints, sponges and also paint rollers to create different effects.

Finally, the last one's theme is lines and waves.

Sometimes, the lines are both strong to balance each page, and sometimes they are of different intensity to contrast each other.

Lastly, is the surprise!

Tadaa!!! The three booklets are pages too! The pop up letterings are words that inspired the marks on each booklet. But wait! There's one last interesting touch!

When a bright light is shone onto the pop ups, lights and shadows of the die cut text are casted! It gives of a smudgy dreamy mark! When you play with the angles, there are different effects, too.

All right that's it for my final work! I hope you liked it!
