This question is still under the same concept as the previous question, but in colour and more textures. It was quite pleasing to complete because music and drawing are my 2 favourite things.

"8 bit 脑" in the album 24 Effects.

The squares and triangles are made with soft pastels and gloss paint marbling, which is then pasted onto the piece. The squares and lines are rigid and uniform on the top half, but then transitions to playful and energetic at the bottom half. Like the song, which changes its mood on the later half.

"Classmates" by Galileo Galilei

This song is a lovely, warm love song, which gave me the idea of making two palm prints who are reaching for eachother. I tried to convey the fuzzy feeling by adding a light wash of colour at the background, rather leaving a stark white.

"Shower Song" by Ivana Wong

This song was fluffy, cheerful and cute, which I wanted to portray through these bright colours. I sticked some dyed tissues onto the piece, which isn't that visible over here. The blue fluffs were meant to be like water and bubbles

"Now There's That Fear Again" by Múm

Both this piece and the song is rather dark and ominous, I added hand-teared marbling with dark colours, and coarse, powdery effect that ties in pretty well.

"But wait, for awhile" Original Soundtrack in "The Eccentric Family"

This piece has a more oriental feel because of the collaged motifs and the colour choices. The song itself has a very asian traditional feel, but modernized, like how I tried to portray in the splitting of the motifs and straight lines.

"Hey Ho" by SEKAI NO OWARI

The bright orange stripes and shapes conveys the cheery, fun mood of the song. The striped shapes were done with washi tape (decorative tape).

Being an art and music lover, I found myself enjoying this project since I got to work with some of my favorite music. I would like to further continue this project as well, with other song that I like. I also learned that I can pick up inspiration from many different things.
