So it is finally time to get hands on with the manual settings!

I like how the shades of gray were sort of blended together to create a nice harmony. I bumped up the ISO to make up for the dark interior.

For this one, I am quite fond of how the surroundings were quite bright, but the subjects were darker , creating a contrast. I think the crisp side profile of the man is also quite interesting.

We can see that there are sort of 3 layers to this photo, differentiated by shade. The front layer is the dark window frame, the middle layer is in mid-tone, and the background is bright. The extreme shades bring focus to the lady. I also like how her hand is blur in motion. It captures her working busily.

I like how the subject stands out because of his dark colours. It makes him look sort of lonely, and adds some emotion to the picture.
