So. today Ms Fu gave me some pretty solid feedback :)! She told me to add more to some certain slides, and I felt I was pretty good to go! At this point, I still haven't decided on my main critique yet. I have considered racism, homophobia and education. I know all those are real issues, but nothing hits home more like good old education.

Allow me to have a mini rant on how I came upon this idea, even before this project. I have observed this among people around me, where they are lost in life, unsure of what career to pick. They put in so much time and effort into attending tuition classes and studying, to the extent that they have no hobbies, no passion. I realize, this is because of education. Education determines what is important and what is not, and because of that, students forsake what is REALLY important to them. They put down their hobbies and passion to make time for studies. If you put it this way, it sounds very hilarious. Some where, someone, is putting down their musical instrument to learn that mitochondria is the powerhouse of a cell. So, the main thing is that education only defines a good student in one way, which is tremendously inaccurate and can only produce non individualistic people.

At first I wanted to make a puppet show, but I thought otherwise after Sabrina suggested stop-motion animation. I was reluctant to use stop-motion at first because I thought it was hard and needed much equipment. But after I watched a Youtube tutorial, I found out it was pretty doable! I was largely inspired by "Blood Tea and Red String" and Jordan underneath. Although, I would want to go for a creepy yet cute style, haha.

Okay so that's it for this week!
