This time, we have to take 5 photos with a single colour theme, and 5 photos of 2 contrasting colours, so without further ado, here we go! I chose to go with red!

I chose a bright red stop sign for this one. I cropped the image to make the whole picture focus more on the stop sign and less on the background. The unfocused fence at the foreground adds more depth to the photo. The stop sign was slightly more to the right to make the composition more interesting.

For this one, I used a bright artificial light. I really like how only the drawer was illuminated and the surroundings were dark. It really brings it out from the background. The strong yellow light also casted a shadow on the dolls face, concealing only one eye, which adds to the ominous and creepy feeling. The black hair of the doll also made it stand out from the drawer.

Three pegs on a clothes line. I intentionally focused the camera onto the first one, and as it the line recedes, the pegs slowly get more unfocused. In my own opinion, I think it adds depth to the photo.

I had assembled all my red thingamajigs and did some knolling! It was quite fun, and I made sure the more bulkier items were at the lower left so it wouldn't cast a shadow onto the other items.

I focused the lens onto the roses, and left the petals of the poinsettia unfocused to frame the picture. I like how the leaves aren't in too bright of a green and is a nice, muted shade which doesn't divert the attention away from the flowers. The soft sunlight on the rose highlighted the petals, and made it look glossy and shiny. I also made sure the roses occupied the bottom left to make the composition more interesting.
Now, let's move on to the contrasting colours!

I chose a bright orange flower to contrast the dark green ornamental chair background. I hope this was enough of a contrast since the flower was in the brightest orange I could find and the chair was a deep green. I cropped it down to make it look more interesting.

For this, I shot a purple flower on a green background. I bumped up the colours of the flowers and made the background darker. It makes more of a contrast now, and gave a totally different mood to the picture.

The bright red ball nicely stood out from the baby blue. It was nice how the ball was bright and glossy, which were contrasting with the textured paper. The red flowers matched and framed the ball nicely. I tried taking a shot without any flowers at first, but it looked pretty lonely.

The stark white border heavily contrasted the flat black background. I like how the edges are so pronounced, but the shadows on the case was nice and soft. The small blue details of the case made it stand out, but not too much because of its white base colour. Somehow, it has a dreamy feel, which I quite like.

I used bright pink kinetic sand in a heart-shaped mold to contrast a baby blue CD cover. It was in bright sunlight, so there was a cute shadow.
