This time, we are brushing up on our shutter speed skills!!

Slow shutter speed #1! We used black and white photography to create a creepy feel. I love love love how the hands are covering her eyes yet you can still see it! The hands had many other lighter figures but the strongest one was still the one covering her eyes. It looked really ghostly and eerie and I like it! Its also nice how the skin tones are the lightest shade which made it standout.
Slow shutter speed #2. We used a flashlight to make cool lasers! It looks sooo cool and the small bursts of light around the brighter areas really adds to the effect. The light really stands out and is the first thing you notice in this photo.

High shutter speed #1! We can clearly see the each droplet of water and the ripples on the water surface. I like how the splashes are not equally larger, where the one on the left was bigger. More droplets were on the left portion, which made the composition more interesting. It is also interesting how 3/4 of the water is darker from the reflection while the rest is illuminated by the reflection of the sky.

High shutter speed #2. Each strand of hair is visible in action as she is flipping her hair. The low angle and the slightly sideways shot adds to the dramatic action. The way the light shines from the top left, and casts a shadow on the bottom left is also a nice touch.
Panning shot #1. The running girl is more focused than the background, which shows that she is running. I like how the composition is, where the main subject occupies more of the lower left section, leaving the rest blurry. The way her hair flutters also conveys to the viewers that wind is blowing while she is running.
Panning shot #2 For this one, we were a bit ambitious and tried an upwards to downwards panning shot by jumping down. It isn't too clear, but I still would call it a success, as the main subject is more in focus compared to the background. The light from the sky is a tad overexposed, but I kind of like how it spills out in bursts, which makes a kind of dreamy feel.
